Green Bonds
Finance & InvestmentGreen bonds are fixed-income instruments where proceeds are exclusively used to finance or refinance projects with environmental benefits — renewable energy, energy efficiency, clean transport, sustainable water management, or climate adaptation. Standards include the ICMA Green Bond Principles, EU Green Bond Standard (EuGBS), and Climate Bonds Standard. India's sovereign green bond programme and SEBI's green debt listing requirements have catalysed domestic green bond issuance.
