GHG verification is the independent assessment of an organisation's greenhouse gas emissions inventory or reduction claims by an accredited third party. Verification follows ISO 14064-3 requirements and is conducted by bodies accredited under ISO 14065 (requirements for GHG verification and validation bodies). Verification provides confidence in reported emissions data and is required for carbon market participation, regulatory compliance (CCTS, EU ETS), and voluntary commitments (SBTi, CDP). GSustain is a GAB-accredited GHG verification body.
