BRSR (Business Responsibility and Sustainability Reporting)

BRSR is India's mandatory sustainability reporting framework prescribed by SEBI for the top 1,000 listed companies by market capitalisation. It requires disclosure across nine principles of the National Guidelines on Responsible Business Conduct (NGRBC). BRSR Core is a subset of assured KPIs covering GHG emissions, water, waste, gender diversity, and value chain. From FY 2023-24, the top 150 companies must obtain reasonable assurance on BRSR Core.
