Biodiversity

Environmental Management
Biodiversity is the variety of life at genetic, species, and ecosystem levels. Corporate biodiversity risk is emerging as a material ESG issue alongside climate change. The Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (COP15, 2022) targets 30% land/ocean conservation by 2030 (30x30). The Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) provides a framework for nature-related risk disclosure. ESRS E4 (Biodiversity) and BRSR both require biodiversity-related disclosures. UK Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) mandates 10% net gain for developments.
