ENVID (Environmental Identification)

Environmental Management
Environmental Identification (ENVID) is a structured hazard identification process used primarily in the oil & gas and industrial sectors to systematically identify environmental aspects and potential impacts of a facility or operation. ENVID workshops follow a source-pathway-receptor model to assess emissions to air, discharges to water, waste generation, resource use, and ecosystem impacts. The output prioritises environmental risks and informs Environmental Management Plans, monitoring programmes, and operational controls.
