PAS 2060 (Carbon Neutrality Standard)
Carbon & ClimatePAS 2060 is the British Standards Institution (BSI) specification for demonstrating carbon neutrality. It requires organisations to measure their carbon footprint (using GHG Protocol or ISO 14064), reduce emissions where possible, and offset remaining emissions using qualifying carbon credits. PAS 2060 mandates a Carbon Footprint Management Plan with reduction commitments and prohibits claiming neutrality without genuine reduction efforts. It has been superseded by ISO 14068-1 (2023) as the international standard for carbon neutrality.
