Stakeholder Engagement

ESG Fundamentals
Stakeholder engagement is the systematic process of identifying, analysing, and involving individuals or groups who affect or are affected by an organisation's activities. In sustainability, this includes investors, employees, communities, regulators, NGOs, and supply chain partners. Effective engagement informs materiality assessments, shapes ESG strategy, builds trust, and is mandated by frameworks like GRI, AA1000, and CSRD. Methods range from surveys and consultations to advisory panels and grievance mechanisms.
