GHG Protocol
Carbon & ClimateThe GHG Protocol is the world's most widely used greenhouse gas accounting standard, developed by the World Resources Institute (WRI) and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD). It provides frameworks for corporate accounting (Scope 1, 2, 3), project-level quantification, and product lifecycle assessment. The Corporate Standard and Scope 3 Standard underpin virtually all regulatory reporting frameworks including BRSR, CSRD, ISSB, and SEC climate rules.
