Waste Management

Waste management encompasses the collection, transport, treatment, and disposal of waste materials, including hazardous waste. In an ESG context, it covers waste reduction, recycling, circular economy implementation, zero-waste-to-landfill targets, and extended producer responsibility (EPR) compliance. India mandates EPR for plastics, e-waste, batteries, and used oil. BRSR requires disclosure of waste generated, diverted, and disposed.
